Job Title: Lead Moving Coordinator

Job location: Toronto, ON
Salary: $36 / hour
# of hours per week: 35 hours per week

Employment Requirements:

• Post secondary diploma degree OR intense training in the field OR 3-5 years directexperience of coordination in the international relocation field
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to learn and operate quickly.
• Adapt to a variety of situations, use common sense, and solve problems effectively.
• Well organized and work well independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and externalcustomers.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Word and MS Excel.
• Expertise in the industry’s highest compliance standards (FIDI-FAIM)

Duties:

• Understand, navigate, and advise customers on custom formalities (for personal effects)for most countries in the world.
• Supervise, plan, assign and review the work of employees and agents working on behalfof Orbit.
• Monitor warehouse manager to confirm timely dispatching and receiving times are met.
• Ensure industry top compliance standards (FIDI-FAIM) are met.
• Handle problems so they do not escalate, ensure company policies and procedures are met and seek to improve on them.
• Cross Train workers in job duties between Export and Import coordination.
• Provide performance reviews of related supervised staff.
• Collect and communicate all relevant documents to customs, agents, accounts, and clientswithin the timelines dictated by FIDI-FAIM.
• Coordinate and prepare delivery instructions tailored to each move based on terms of quote.
• Audit invoices to ensure accurate billing.
• Negotiate and book freight with land, ocean, and air carriers.
• Track Shipments and provide progress reports to clients and agents.
• Obtain all the relevant data related to the international moves and feeding into the moving software.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Driver & Helper

Drive truck to and from destination
Commercial and Household moving involved
Minimum of 1 year driving experience necessary
Experience in the moving industry is an asset
Physically load and unload trucks
Ability to pad and wrap household furniture
Must be flexible for hours

Job Title: Mover Helper

Job Profile:

Household packing and unpacking.
Loading and unloading trucks.
Pleasure attitude, careful yet fast pace working.
Hard working, able to do heavy lifting.
Must be bondable.
Must be flexible for hours.
Experience preferred but not required.
